Customs tariff classification changes affecting Class 19.2 approved arrangement (AEPCOMM)

Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) wish to advise that the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment (the department) has issued Industry Advice Notice 04-2022 advising of customs tariff classification changes affecting Class 19.2 approved arrangement (AEPCOMM)

What has changed?

Tariffs in scope of AEPCOMM have been updated to reflect changes in Schedule 3 of the Customs tariff classifications effective on 1 January 2022.

Please refer to our Approved commodities and related information for the class 19.2 AEPCOMM approved arrangement for the updated list of in scope tariffs.

These include:

  • Group 1. Boats (all countries – airfreight, LCL, FCL/X, break bulk)
  • Group 11. Manufactured wooden articles and wooden products (all countries – airfreight, LCL, FCL-X, break bulk)
  • Group 14. New and used vehicles, aircraft and parts; machinery, parts and equipment (all countries - airfreight, LCL, FCL-X, break bulk)
  • Group 16. Prefabricated buildings (all countries – airfreight, LCL, FCL/X, break bulk)
