FTA/APSA representatives meet with Federal Treasury
In this morning's meeting, we stated 'close contact' Health Order concessions need to be expanded to allow for more flexible operations across the supply chain including freight forwarders, depots, warehouses and transport operations.

Patrick increases Terminal Access Charges
Effective from 7 March 2022, Terminal Access Charges will increase by up to 20% at containerised ports. FTA/APSA have written to the Patrick CEO and will escalate advocacy via the Productivity Commission's inquiry into Australia's maritime logistics system.

Preferential Rule Type in the ICS for the Agreement Establishing the ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand Free Trade Area (AANZFTA)
From 1 January 2022, the preference rule type PSR should be used in place of CTC, CTH, RVC and OTH when claiming preferential rates of customs duty under AANZFTA. There have been no changes to WO or PE Preferential Rule Types.
