Australia Joins International Competition Authorities to Target Potential Supply Chain Criminal Collusion
The ACCC will partner with the Canadian Competition Bureau; the US Department of Justice, the New Zealand Commerce Commission and the UK Competition and Markets Authority to identify and prevent potentially anticompetitive conduct in the global shipping.

Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) Kits - packs of 300 to meet member feedback
As outlined in our member notice on 19 January 2022, Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) has partnered with Protective Health, a leading provider of medical supplies, as part of a consortia to provide members with access to Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs).
We visited HubX yesterday and are delighted to advise that options now exist of smaller purchases (600 or 300 tests) as well as the original bulk offer of 1200 - all options available at the low price of $6.99 (excl GST) per test.

BIOSECURITY
The expiry date for many Approved Arrangements (AAs) is 30 June 2022 (six years from the commencement of the Act on 1 July 2016.
 
Biosecurity industry participants who hold an AA which is due to expire on 30 June 2022 will need to reapply for an approved arrangement.

Reapplications will need to be lodged by 31 March 2022

This will be Australia's first national biosecurity strategy and will set the direction for the future of the national biosecurity system. This strategy is for all Australians, Your input will help shape the final national biosecurity strategy – including further actions, implementation and next steps.
