Tour De Brisbane

The Common Good is an initiative of The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation raising funds for life-changing medical research areas of dementia, mental health, heart disease, lung disease and organ transplant research.

In addition to the recreation / exercise area installed last year Brian Hack ( Managing Director) is now looking at the working week / hours to offer a better work / life balance for employees and management.

 
Brian says he hopes the steps to prioritise wellbeing and mental health will be replicated within the industry which has been battered by supply chain issues over the past 2 years.

SEA FREIGHT
Shipping Competition and reliance on foreign owned shipping lines
FTA/APSA warned against following the lead of the European Union Block Exemption and that should a variation be adopted in Australia, that it incorporate many safeguards and extra protections above and beyond the current Part X regime. 
 
A major shipping line is declining contractual services to freight forwarders, regional exporters failing to receive sufficient equipment (especially 20ft containers), limited access to key trade lanes and freight costs reaching record highs.
