WEBINAR - Innovation in Biosecurity treatments

Free & Exclusive to FTA / APSA members

Please join us at our webinar at 12pm AEST (TOMORROW) Wednesday 5 July 2023 - REGISTER HERE

With the ever-increasing focus on the "Environmental, social, and governance" (ESG) profile of the freight and trade industry, it is imperative that we begin to look at the significant environmental impacts of the biosecurity and quarantine treatments currently being used both in Australia and internationally, and how we can facilitate change towards a more sustainable future.

2023 Continued Biosecurity Competency (CBC)

The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (the department) has issued Industry Advice Notice 122/2023 with key dates and information for the 2023-24 Continued Biosecurity Competency (CBC).

The CBC pre-recorded webinar will be made available on the department's Learnhub platform from Wednesday 6 September 2023 and must be completed by Wednesday 18 October 2023.

It is essential that you access the department's Learnhub and complete the topic "Introduction to Learnhub" before September's scheduled activity.

DCN - Completing the Circle

What's old is new again, and with the most recent federal budget, the government is making some progress, but there are some familiar themes, Paul Zalai writes in the July edition of the DCN

"Of significant note in the in the overall $1.03-billion package is expansion of Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry cost recovery measures to include parcels and non-letter mail."
