The Australian Border Force (ABF) have advised under the updated Australian Customs Notice No. 2023/23 that the mandatory CPD module is now available for completion.

ALL licensed customs brokers must complete this mandatory module by 31 March 2024 - Please NOTE it is ONLY available via the Department's ABF Australian Trusted Trader (ATT) training portal.  READ MORE

2023 Continued Biosecurity Competency (CBC)

The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (the department) has issued Industry Advice Notice 122/2023 with key dates and information for the 2023-24 Continued Biosecurity Competency (CBC).

The CBC pre-recorded webinar will be made available on the department's Learnhub platform from Wednesday 6 September 2023 and must be completed by Wednesday 18 October 2023.


It is essential that you access the department's Learnhub and complete the topic "Introduction to Learnhub" before September's scheduled activity.

Toowoomba Smart Logistics - Future of Freight Symposium 2023

Tom Jensen, Head of International Freight & Logistics at FTA, joined Industry professionals and delegates to explore how the region can maximise its infrastructure and create innovative solutions to continue on its vision to become a major inland port. The event focused on growth opportunities with supply chain expansion, road and rail networks, air connectivity, decarbonisation, sustainability, and social practices all discussed at length.

DP World Fremantle Terminal - New TMA

DP World Fremantle Terminal has advised that they have completed in-gate systems testing of the new Truck Marshalling Area (TMA) and they are now " live" effective, Monday, 10 July 2023.

 

DP World Fremantle has produced an Introduction Video, and request that Fremantle wharf carriers share the video with fleet controllers, drivers and sub-contractors. -  READ MORE

Trouble accessing BICON

The  Department of Agriculture, Fisheries & Forestry is regularly contacted by representatives from Australian companies and organisations that cannot access their company or organisation's BICON account. This can occur if an employee creates a single-user BICON account, and the BICON account details are not available to other staff if the employee goes on extended leave or permanently leaves the company or organisation. READ MORE

Key dates and information for the 2023-24 Continued Biosecurity Competency (CBC) period

Key dates for the Continued Biosecurity Competency (CBC) 2023-24 period have now been published on the CBC activities webpage.

The CBC webinar activity for this period will be pre-recorded and made available on the Learnhub platform from Wednesday, 6 September 2023. As a result of these changes, there will no longer be a requirement to register your attendance for the event. Accredited persons must ensure that they have set up and logged into their Learnhub account. It is recommended that accredited persons also complete the 'Introduction to Learnhub' training prior to accessing the CBC activity. READ MORE

Proposed AICIS fees and charges for 2023-24
