SUBMISSION

In response to a request for feedback from the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) on the Draft CPM Recommendation on Minimising Pest Risk in the Sea Container Pathway, Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) made a formal submission to the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) as Australia's National Plant Protection Organisations (NPPO).

In other breaking news, we are delighted to also advise that Sal Milici, General Manager Trade Policy & Operations - FTA/APSA and Chair – Container Cleanliness Working Group - Global Shippers Forum (GSF), has been accepted as a representative on the newly formed Imported Sea Container Pathway (ISCP) working group to be hosted by DAFF.
