DP World - Exorbitant Landside Fees / Deferral of TAC increase
Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) along with Container Transport Alliance Australia (CTAA) have continued to escalate advocacy in response to DP World announcing exorbitant landside fee increases that were to take effect 1 January 202. IMDG classification of lithium-ion batteries is
outdated
and cause for concern
We would like to thank
Marcus
John
, Managing Director - TT Club, Sydney
for his article in the latest edition of Across Borders.
"
The clear conclusion is that lithium-ion batteries are not classified as sufficiently hazardous, and the range of potential Special Provisions increases complexity and uncertainty.
