The inaugural National Biosecurity Week

National Biosecurity Week is a pivotal initiative designed to spotlight the importance of biosecurity in safeguarding Australia's environment, economy, and public health. It serves as a platform to inform and engage various stakeholders—including government, industry, and the broader community—about the shared responsibility of managing biosecurity risks. By promoting collaboration and highlighting best practices, National Biosecurity Week aims to strengthen Australia's defences against the increasing threats posed by pests, diseases, and other biosecurity challenges, ensuring a secure and sustainable future.

Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) is proud to support and drive this initiative as a committed member of the Decade of Biosecurity. We recognise the critical role that biosecurity plays in the operations of our diverse membership, which includes international logistics providers and cargo owners. Sharing this important message within our community is key to maintaining a robust and resilient supply chain that benefits all Australians.

Visit bioweek.org.au to download your resource pack and register your NBW event.

Remember to share your NBW celebrations on social media with the #BioWeekAU.
