Welcome to our first weekly report for 2018.

We look forward to hosting our first international conference as the Australian representative to the Global Shippers Forum.

Combined with the ICHCA International Conference and MegaTrans2018 we expect a capacity attendance of exporters, importers, logistics and supply chain professionals at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre in May 2018.

From an administrative perspective, we are also delighted to advise that membership fees remain unchanged for 2018 ensuring that we again set the benchmark in value and professionalism of service to the international trade sector.

Unlocking value across the container logistics supply chain

Transport inefficiencies that start at the terminal gate have a flow-on effect right across the container logistics supply chain, trapping value and depressing profitability for all involved.

But it doesn't have to be this way.

Connecting the community of container depots and terminals, cargo owners, shipping lines, and road transporters, Containerchain solutions support synchronised communication and operational predictability.

Features include real-time paperless tracking, frictionless information exchange, process automation, and optimised asset utilisation - as well as total container movement visibility for more proactive planning. The result is lowered cost of operations and improved profitability for one of the world's most essential industries.

Candidate: 6408981 – Customer Service

This candidate has been working with a large-scale 'Importer / Exporter' for the past 4 years, looking for an opportunity to move into the Freight Forwarding environment.
Having knowledge of the shipping industry, container rates, export docs (including Phyto's & LOC's) & import permits give this candidate a fantastic base of knowledge to build on.
With the new year fast approaching, the early months of the year would be a fantastic time to induct and provide training to a candidate whom is keen to learn, adapt & excel in your business.
Knowledge of 'the other side' is often critical to ensure that your CS team understand the role the shipper plays and the difficulties & challenges which this candidate is only too familiar with.
Look to diversify the experience of your team today, and commence 2018 with a positive step forward!
