Australia's Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment, the hon Steven Ciobo MP, will meet counterparts at the Pacific Alliance Summit in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to advance negotiations on the Pacific Alliance-Australia Free Trade Agreement (FTA).
The Pacific Alliance brings together four Latin American countries – Mexico, Chile, Colombia and Peru – which share Australia's commitment to free trade.
The significant trade bloc accounts for more than 50 per cent of Latin America's trade, presenting a huge opportunity for Australian exporters.
