UPDATE: APL Issues Persist and 1-Stop now experiencing messaging delays

Wednesday, December 12, 2018

Since Monday 10 December 2018, Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) members have reported the inability to receive cargo release from APL.

FTA have been in close contact with APL and CMA CGM senior executives during that time and have sought to assist FTA members where possible.

FTA has received further detail today that the problem  has been caused as a result of APL recently migrating its global computer systems and in turn, Australian customers are experiencing a number of technical issues related to the production and release of EDO's.

APL is endeavouring to resolve these issues urgently and appreciate customers' patience.

FTA understand that a formal APL customer notification will be forthcoming plus a commitment has been given to provide FTA with further updates as they occur.

In the interim, APL has asked that all enquiries be directed to their Australian Customer Service teams on 1300 728 678 .

FTA has also been made aware that 1-Stop is currently experiencing processing delays with the backlog of messages not expected to be cleared until 8pm AEDT tonight. 1-Stop have therefore asked that members refrain from re-sending messages while they work through the backlog.

Further updates on both issues will be posted on the FTA website during the course of this evening and until resolution in coming day.
