Final count down - air cargo security requirements - 1 March 2019

The Department of Home Affairs (DoHA) has disseminated regular notices to Australian exporters titled Export Air Cargo Security is changing on 1 March 2019 highlighting the count down until 1 March 2019 when export air cargo, regardless of destination, will need to be examined at piece-level or originate from a Known Consignor.

Please refer to the complete list of approved Known Consignors and Regulated Agent Cargo Agents (RACAs) updated earlier today, 13 February 2019.

DoHA is encouraging anyone with concerns about their business' readiness for 1 March 2019 requirements to contact them at guidancecentre@homeaffairs.gov.au or 1300 791 581.
