Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) has received the following notice from the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources
The consultation period for the Minimum Documentary and Import Declaration requirements policy is now well underway. The uptake of industry representatives completing the survey has been less than we had hoped and we would like to hear from more of your members to ensure we capture a cross section of views. The feedback through the survey is vital to help inform our revisions to the policy and continue to deliver best practise in how we manage risk for import document assessment with consistent service standards.
Could you please encourage your members to complete the survey by going to the public consultation page of our website, review the draft policy and table of proposed changes and complete the survey to share their views: haveyoursay.agriculture.gov.au/min-doc-review
The survey will close 24th May.
