FTA / APSA – best wishes to Andrew Crawford

Friday, November 15, 2019

I am writing to inform members that Andrew Crawford will finish employment with Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) on Monday 23  November 2019 and will be commencing a new national executive role at ACFS Port Logistics.

Andrew performed an important role for FTA and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) over the last 18 months, first as our Head of Border and Biosecurity and more recently as Head of Trade and Policy.
While responsible for a diverse range of policy matters, Andrew will be best remembered for being at the forefront of member support over a couple of difficult Brown marmorated stink bug (BMSB) seasons and leaves a positive legacy for leading reforms resulting in significant process improvements for our industry.

We sincerely wish Andrew all the very best in his new role and thank him for his commitment and support to FTA and its members.

FTA will take this opportunity to recruit and restructure operations, including the establishment of a new role for a licensed customs broker or appropriately qualified trade professional to complete member Account Management & Operational Support from our St Kilda Road Melbourne office.
