If life is in danger call 000

Reach out to employees and create a mentally healthy workplace. Your staff will look to you for leadership, guidance and support. There are several things employers can do to support staff whilst they are working from home, during the COVID-19 pandemic:

·         Increase your own knowledge about mental health and be aware of the support
      available

·         Educate your staff about mental health in the workplace

·         Talk openly about mental health at work and encourage others to do the same

·         Provide support to any team member who is struggling with their mental health

·         Communicate regularly with your team

·         Improve work design by addressing potential workplace stressors

·         Encourage:

Mentally healthy work habits

Healthy work routines, Schedule breaks

Regular sleep routines

Eating healthy foods

Physical activity

Staying connected with Colleagues

·         Work with your team to develop a plan
