Starry, starry gypsum night at Kwinana Bulk Terminal

A photo by Ashley Ryan, Electrical Projects Supervisor at Fremantle Ports, of the import stacker at Kwinana Bulk Terminal (KBT) handling gypsum. Gypsum imported through KBT is used for plasterboard, render and other building materials, so there's sure to be some in your house. Generally, there are three to four shipments a year at KBT at an average of 36,500 tonnes. In 2018-19, there were four shipments totalling 157,290 tonnes. In 2019-20, there have been three shipments totalling 109,022 tonnes with the next shipment due in August.
