New IFAM flight, additional capacity: Toowoomba (Wellcamp) to Hong Kong

We are pleased to announce new flight capacity under the International Freight Assistance Mechanism (IFAM) from Toowoomba (Wellcamp) to Hong Kong with Cathay Pacific.   These flights will operate for 6 weeks under the following schedule:   Toowoomba – Hong Kong: Sundays commencing 7 June   What do I need to do?   To access these flights please contact your own freight forwarder or one of the IFAM freight forwarders.   Pricing   The IFAM is not intended to fully offset the increase in freight costs to pre-COVID- 19 levels. The Australian Government is meeting a portion of the airfreight costs, however, you will need to make a financial contribution towards the cost of your freight. This cost is likely to be more than pre-COVID airfreight rates.   The Airline rate(s) take into account the Australian Government contribution to these flights. COVID-19 AIR CARGO BULLETIN BOARD   FTA now has a service to support forwarders who are also contemplating chartering aircraft but may not have the necessary volume requirements to be commercially viable.   The solution is simple in the form of bulletin board titled "COVID-19 Air Cargo Bulletin Board" whereby industry can communicate with each other to advise freight space availability or requirements refer HERE.   As a contribution to Australian trade and community, FTA will host this service as long as required on a free of charge basis - available to all of industry.   For further information, please contact me on smilici@FTAlliance.com.au or 0426 057 373
