As members would be aware, the Victorian Premier announced Sunday, 6 September 2020 an update to the COVID-19 Stage 4 restrictions and a 'roadmap to reopening via safe, steady and sustainable steps'

Earlier today (Sunday, 27 September) the Premier announced that  the roadmap had been revised and 137,000 workers will be returning to work as a result of the numbers of active COVID-19 cases in the community being ahead of schedule.

Moments ago Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association attended a briefing with officials from Freight Victoria and the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions officials who have confirmed the following:

'WORKER RESTRICTIONS ON WAREHOUSES WILL BE LIFTED FROM MONDAY 28 SEPTEMBER"

However in order to mitigate the increased numbers in the workplace the following measures will be required.

Further details on the specifics of these measures will be provided once the information is uploaded to the DHHS website
