OPPORTUNITY TO ENGAGE WITH DR BRADLEY ARMSTRONG PSM - COMMISSIONER OF THE ANTI-DUMPING COMMISSION

Wednesday, May 5, 2021

Freight and Trade Alliance (FTA) are honoured to be an ongoing member of the International Trade Remedies Forum (ITRF) on which we are represented by Russell Wiese of Customs and Global Trade Law.

Sal Milici (Head of Border and Biosecurity - FTA/APSA) and Russell Wiese met with Dr Bradley Armstrong PSM (as the newly appointed Commissioner of the Anti-Dumping Commission) in late March to discuss how the forum can continue to provide an opportunity for key users of the anti-dumping system to advise the Government on the operation and improvements to Australia's anti-dumping legislation.

Further to our engagement with the ITRF secretariat we have been advised that (Melbourne based) Dr Armstrong will be travelling interstate in the coming weeks, and potentially able to visit business with an interest in the anti-dumping system, such as importers or businesses that use imported goods in their production processes, to view their operations if it fits with his schedule.

If any members would be interested in such a visit, please let me know via email - SMilici@FTAlliance.com.au
