MAERSK - OC1 Service schedule adjustments – Alternate Port omissions of Port Chalmers & Napier

The New Zealand supply chain continues to be impacted by terminal congestion and suspension of vessel proforma windows, impacting our schedules. After having reviewed the current operational environment, to protect schedule reliability and continue to enable a weekly connection between Oceania and Americas, we have decided to continue the alternate omissions between Port Chalmers and Napier on OC1.

More specifically, the ports of Port Chalmers and Napier in New Zealand will continue to be alternately omitted until further notice starting with the vessel Maersk Bintan 133N on August 27th omitting Port Chalmers and Spirit of Singapore 134N on September 6th omitting Napier. The port of Timaru will remain omitted on the OC1 service to add additional schedule buffer as per our earlier advisory.

The new OC1 bi-weekly rotation will therefore be as follows

• Sydney > Melbourne > Port Chalmers > Tauranga > Panama Canal > Manzanillo > Cristobal > Cartagena > Philadelphia > Charleston > Cartagena > Panama Canal > Balboa > Tauranga > Sydney.
• Sydney > Melbourne > Napier > Tauranga > Panama Canal > Manzanillo > Cristobal > Cartagena > Philadelphia > Charleston > Cartagena > Panama Canal > Balboa > Tauranga > Sydney.
