Purpose
Exporters are not required to enter the Sanitary and Phytosanitary Import Clearance (SPSIC) number into the Next Export Documentation (NEXDOC) system for processed milk and milk products exported to the Philippines. Exporters should revert to previous arrangements to raise a Request for Export (REX) by entering 'not applicable' into the import permit number field.

This advice supersedes the previous advice, MAA2021-52.
The Philippines Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) has provided further advice that a SPSIC number is not required for processed milk and milk products. To raise a Request for Export (REX), exporters should enter 'not applicable' into the import permit number field in NEXDOC.
This requirement will be updated on the relevant Micor page.
The Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment (the department) encourages all exporters to work with their importer to ensure that product meet importing country requirements.
