SKY NEWS COVERAGE - CONTAINER CONGESTION AT AUSTRALIAN PORTS

A special note of appreciation is extended to Sky News for their ongoing coverage on international shipping. I  was privileged to be interviewed alongside Stephen Butler (ACFS Port Logistics) in an exceptionally well researched and presented story that included reference to freight costs, unreasonable container detention practices and congestion in Australian empty container parks. Importantly, the feature  story in the Business Weekend  also referenced the U.S. Ocean Shipping Reform Act (OSRA) 2022 and whether similar regulation is likely to emerge locally as a result of the Productivity Commission's review of Australia's Maritime Logistics System.
