Purpose

• To advise dairy stakeholders that some updates have been made to the following codes within the next export documentation (NEXDOC) and establishment registration (ER) systems:
  • registered operation codes for dairy export manufacturers
  • dairy product type and category codes

Key Points:

The department has made updates to the following:

1. Registered operation codes for dairy export manufacturers

• An up-to date list of registered operations can be viewed on the department's website
• If any changes were necessary for your current dairy export registration, you will receive an updated certificate of registration.

2. Dairy product category codes

• An up-to date list of dairy product category codes in NEXDOC can be viewed on the department's website
• Please ensure your systems and instructional material have been updated to reflect the updated list of codes.

Background

We recently finalised a review of dairy registered operations and dairy product category codes for export manufacturers and the new codes took effect from 31 July 2023. This was communicated through IAN 2023-27.
