Purpose

This Market Access Advice (MAA) is to notify exporters of new access for live Eastern Rock Lobster to Vietnam.

Summary of key points

Vietnam's Department of Fisheries has granted approval for the export of live Eastern rock lobster from Australia to Vietnam.

This approval opens new market access for live Eastern rock lobster in addition to existing access for live Ornate, Southern, and Western rock lobsters to Vietnam.

Exporters are encouraged to work closely with their importers to ensure all importing country requirements for their product are met. The Manual of Importing Country Requirements (Micor) will be updated to reflect this new market access.
