Further expansion of the class 19.2 automatic entry processing for commodities (AEPCOMM) approved arrangement

Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) wish to advise that the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (the department) has issued Industry Advice Notice 256-2023 advising of the expansion of the class 19.2 automatic entry processing for commodities (AEPCOMM) approved arrangement

On behalf of members, FTA has consistently urged the department to broaden the commodities covered by the AEPCOMM scheme.

The department's recent announcement is positively received, as it enhances the prospects for accredited importers and customs brokers to fully leverage the benefits of the AEPCOMM scheme.
