PurposeTo inform stakeholders of the publication of 3 new application forms for livestock exports. Key points- The department has published 3 new livestock application forms. These forms apply to applications:
- for a new livestock export licence, approved arrangement or approved export program
- to vary a livestock export licence, approved arrangement or approved export program
- to renew a livestock export licence.
- These forms replace the single application form for Livestock Export Licence, Approved Arrangement, and Approved Export Program – new application, renewal, and variations.
- To complete the forms electronically, save to your desktop and open using Adobe Acrobat Reader (rather than completing via your web browser).
Background Section 377 of the Export Control Act 2020 sets out requirements for applications, including where the Secretary has approved a form for making an application.
The new forms were developed to address stakeholder feedback around the useability of the previously published form. The updates also align with departmental branding and formatting requirements. Jess Rummery Director Live Animal Export Branch Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry
