ABF - Processing update for Christmas and New Year

The Australian Border Force (ABF) is responsible for processing refund claims and drawbacks with payments administered through the Department Home Affairs financial systems.

In line with recent years, Home Affairs will not process refunds and drawbacks over the Christmas and New Year period. 

Claims for refunds and drawbacks can continue to be submitted to the ABF as per normal although payment on any transactions not completed prior to 20^th December will be delayed until early January 2024.
