Public consultation extended on stage 2 of the ESCAS review

Purpose

To advise stakeholders that the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry has extended the consultation for stage 2 of the Exporter Supply Chain Assurance System (ESCAS) review.

Key points

• Further to EAN 2023/18, due to stakeholder requests and proximity to the holiday period, the department has extended consultation by 6 weeks.
• Consultation will now conclude at 5:00pm AEDT on Monday, 29 January 2024.
