FTA / APSA feature on ABC News Trade impacts and other supply chain factors impacting on the Australian "cost of living"

Joe O'Brien from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) last night hosted a live interview with Paul Zalai from Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) on trade impacts as a result of the Red Sea hostilities and other supply chain factors impacting on the Australian 'cost of living'

Whilst there are many challenges due to geopolitical and climatic challenges Mr Zalai highlighted

"Obviously the Federal Government are limited in what they can do in relation to the Red Sea or the Panama Canal; but there is a whole lot they (the Federal Government) can do to help Australia become more efficient and improve productivity at Australia's ports.
