Port of Dampier resumes operations

As at 08.00am on 23 February 2024, the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) advises Ex-Tropical Cyclone Lincoln is located approximately 360 kilometres north northwest of Karratha and 465 kilometres north northeast of Exmouth.

Ex-Tropical Cyclone Lincoln is moving to the west southwest, well north of the Pilbara coast and is likely to turn to the southwest, towards the far west Pilbara coast from tonight. Ex-Lincoln is expected to re-develop into a tropical cyclone later today.

Pilbara Ports will resume operations at the Port of Dampier, with small vessels and moored vessels able to start immediately and terminals and anchorages to resume operations from 3.00pm AWST.

No further updates will be provided for the Port of Dampier.
