WA DEPOT RECEIVES SUSPENSION NOTICE

Monday, February 26, 2024

Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) has received advice that a Western Australian Section 77G Depot has been issued a "Surrender Notice" by the Australian Border Force (ABF) - the depot's notice to clients is available HERE (FTA/APSA MEMB LGIN REQUIRED)

In parallel to this action, FTA met with the Superintendent Customs Licensing on Friday 23 February 2024 who explained circumstances whereby licensing applications fail to meet requirements, where existing Sec 77G Depots are required to notify business structure changes and consequences of incorrect / incomplete applications for relocation.

In response to the FTA request, the ABF have committed to dedicate 20 minutes of licensing content as a part of their broader compliance presentation at the below Depot Forums.
