VALE - Michael Parker

Our sincere condolences and thoughts are with the family, friends and work colleagues of  Michael Parker, CEO - Fremantle Ports who passed away yesterday Wednesday 3 April 2024. Both Paul Zalai and I met with Michael not long after his appointment and found him to be engaging, direct and passionate about involving the whole supply chain in the movement of goods through Fremantle Port. As a Chair of the West Australian Port Operations Taskforce I had the opportunity to meet with Michael on numerous occasions  and found he was always available to discuss matters of concern to our members and the wider industry. Again our condolences to his spouse Wendy, and their four children Ben, Jackson, Sophie and Dan. A statement that was provided by Fremantle Ports can be seen HERE.
