Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) has received numerous reports from members of delays at the Qantas Freight CTO in Melbourne.
FTA/APSA have addressed the matter with Qantas Freight senior management who have confirmed a backlog in checking in cargo as a result of a recent increase in sick leave in the past week.
Qantas Freight are working through the backlog and suggest all efforts are being made to return to normal service standards as soon as possible.
