Routine removal of outdated export advisory notices Species: All Countries: All | Attention Purpose To inform stakeholders that export advisory notices (EANs) published prior to 2023 have been retired from the Live Animal Export Advisory Notices webpage as part of a routine update. Key points - EANs are generally retained on the department's website for one year as they provide point in time information. Current and ongoing information is saved in relevant locations, for example on our website, consultation platforms and in the Australian Standards for the Export of Livestock (ASEL).
- EANs published prior to 2023 that contain ongoing regulatory requirements can be found at Export advisory notices containing regulatory requirements. We are continuing to move information from these EANs to the appropriate location.
- EAN 2016-16 Management and removal of rejects has been retired as part of this update as current requirements from the EAN have been moved into ASEL.
- You can access retired EANs at the National Library of Australia's TROVE archive.
Background In January 2022 we changed the way we use EANs, to use EANs as a notification tool. Ongoing requirements are now published on relevant webpages or other suitable locations, and the EAN will point to these webpages. Retaining EANs for one year ensures information on the department's live animal export webpages is up to date, readily available and easy to find. |
