The Australian Government recently announced $519.1 million over eight years to deliver the second phase of the Future Drought Fund (FDF).
 
This funding will help farmers and regional communities prepare for and build drought and climate resilience.

This commitment responds to, and addresses, the 2023 Productivity Commission Inquiry, and stakeholder feedback received during nation-wide consultation and the 2023 National Drought Forum.
