Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Onshore intervention for non-compliant offshore Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB) treated consignments.

Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) wish to advise that the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) has issued Industry Advice Notice 127-2024 advising of a numbers of heat treatments conducted by 'approved' offshore treatment providers on the List of Treatment Providers that did not meet the DAFF's BMSB treatment requirements.

An initial list of the containers affected by this action is included HERE. There may be consignments which are affected by this actio
n that may not appear on the list 

All affected treatment certificates are invalid and will not be accepted by DAFF.
