Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (the department) - Central and Regional offices.
Purpose
This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to advise Next Export Documentation (NEXDOC) users who have the automated export permit issuers permission for dairy products, will soon receive the same permission for eggs, fish and fish product commodities via NEXDOC.
Summary of changes and key points:
From Monday 30 September 2024, export documentation for consignments of fish will be managed through NEXDOC.
If you are currently approved in NEXDOC to authorise requests for export (REXs) for the dairy commodity as an automated export permit issuer (AEPI), the department will extend your permission to include the ability to authorise REXs for eggs, fish and fish products. This is an automatic update and there is nothing you need to do at this time.
A reminder that in order to authorise a REX in NEXDOC, you must be listed in the Client Group or Exporter Account that is raising the REX. If you need to be added, you will need to request the Group or Account administrator to add you.
