Round 16 of the Cooperative Research Centres Projects (CRC-P) grant funding will support 23 projects across Australia.
23 October 2024
Manufacturers and researchers will collaborate on world-leading innovations to transform industries such as critical minerals and renewable energy.
Round 16 grant recipients include:
- CPC Engineering will design and construct a pilot plant to demonstrate an innovative process to separate iron, aluminium and other metals which addresses environmental and operational cost challenges.
- ROC Technologies will design, manufacture, deploy and assess performance of shared helical anchors for offshore renewable energy. The project will build local capabilities and supply chains.
- Nanocube Health will drive development of technology for early detection and treatment of pancreatic cancer.
- Miniprobes will deliver a AI-enabled optical scanner to rapidly assess beef quality.
- Atomo Diagnostics will develop Australia's first at-home syphilis test which distinguishes active infection from past-treated case.
- Emesent will pioneer an innovative autonomous mining platform to collect and merge data from field robots and sensors.
CRC-P grants strengthen links between industry and research organisations, allowing them to develop new technologies, products, processes and services. Funding supports industry-led research projects, offering matched funding of between $100,000 and $3 million. Grants are for a period of up to 3 years.
