DAFF IIAN 247/2024 - Increase in COLS upload file size limit from 10MB to 20MB
Thursday, November 7, 2024
The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) has today released Import Industry Advice Notice 247-2024 announcing the increase in COLS upload file size limit from 10MB to 20MB.
What has changed?
As a direct result of industry feedback, the department has increased the COLS upload file size limit from 10MB to 20MB.
This enhancement delivers on commitments to improve document lodgement process for industry and was developed as part of the Simplified Targeting and Enhanced Processing Systems (STEPS) Program. STEPS is an investment in the department's imported cargo ICT systems and business processes to enhance Australia's biosecurity risk management by creating a faster, simpler and more integrated cargo clearance system.
