This is the last working day of the month this year, as set out in the Legislation Act 2019. Customs will be consulting with industry and looking at amending Customs regulations to see if we can prevent this situation occurring again in 2025. How will this affect me? It means your payment is due one week earlier than it usually is at this time of year. It is important to pay by the due date to avoid late payment penalties and compensatory interest being changed. If you are unable to make the payment on 24 December 2024, please email revenue@customs.govt.nz and we will contact you for further information. | | | | | | | | | | Philippines joins Carnet system | | The Philippines Government has joined the international ATA Carnet system.
