Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) has received advice from the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) in relation to advice concerning the renaming of mygovID and Digital Identify.
On Tuesday 12 November 2024, the Australian Government's 'myGovID' is undergoing a name change to 'myID'.
The Australian Government's 'Digital Identity' has also since undergone a name change to 'Digital ID'.
No action is required. These are name changes only – existing access to, and functionality of DAFF applications which have a Digital ID/myID login will not change.
