Southern Ports is undertaking routine maintenance of its channels and seabeds within port waters by removing excess sand.
A tug towing a barge will be visible across all three of our ports at Albany, Bunbury and Esperance during November.
In addition, at our Port of Bunbury, we will be undertaking our regular sea wrack removal between 25 November and 2 December.
The sea wrack (dead seaweed) is applied to farmlands at our Port of Bunbury to improve soil health.
These works will support the safe movement of the more than 800 vessels that visit our ports each year.
