Delivered by PBPL with Principal Contractor, FKG, the new facility comprises a 15,000sqm warehouse plus a 500sqm administrative building, car parking and over 30,000sqm of hardstand together with a washbay and bond store.
The team achieved strong sustainability outcomes during construction, which commenced in January 2024 and completed in November. Find out more on our website. |

| | Industry partners enjoy inside look at Electrolux development PBPL hosted industry partners and peers for a tour of the Electrolux development in November. The visit focused on the sustainability initiatives achieved, particularly the extensive use of low carbon concrete used on the project as we target our first 6-star Green Star rating.
The Electrolux project used Heidelberg's Enrich 50 – a 50% reduced embodied carbon concrete product – on all external pavements, footings and roadways which achieved a CO2 reduction of around 1,200 tonnes. Attendees heard from Principal Contractor McNab as well as Heidelberg Materials and The Footprint Company.
Project completion is anticipated in early 2025. |

| | Radar Street road works complete Pavement rehabilitation works across a 350m stretch of road were recently completed on Radar Street in our Port West Estate (stage 1), delivering a safer road for our customers and strong sustainability outcomes.?
Due to the focused efforts of our team and Principal Contractor, no demolition material was sent to landfill. In addition, around 4600 tonnes of material was beneficially reused on other non-PBPL projects with the remainder sent for recycling. One of the projects that benefitted was a school in the Brisbane south metropolitan area, which received demolished roadbase to help with construction at the school.
Thank you to our customers for their patience and cooperation during the works.
