WiseTech Global to acquire BSM Global

Established in 2003 by Robert Flemming, BSM Global operates across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the United States. BSM's global trade management (GTM) solution allows exporters to plan and manage the contracts, financial and commercial arrangements with their trading partners and produce relevant international trade documents.

It also allows supply chain managers to plan and execute their international transactions. Importantly, it removes manual processes and automates data transfer between supply chain managers, their logistics service providers, their customers and some government or statutory bodies. These solutions integrate with the most common ERP systems used by exporters including SAP, Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics.

Following the tragic passing of Rob on Saturday 18 March 2023, BSM has been led by his son Jason who has over 25 years of experience in trade and global supply chains and has worked with BSM since its inception; including a decade as regional manager.

In what is major development for the international trade sector, a media release announced last night that WiseTech Global has entered into an agreement to acquire BSM. In that statement, Jason makes the following commentary:
