Who does this notice affect?
All clients submitting the below declarations:
- Full Import Declaration (FID)
- Long Form Self Assessed Clearance (LFSAC)
- Short Form Self Assessed Clearance (SFSAC)
- Cargo Report Self Assessed Clearance (CRSAC)
- Cargo Report Personal Effects (PE)
All clients required to use the Biosecurity Import Conditions System (BICON) during this planned maintenance period.
All clients required to use the Export / Next Export Documentation (EXDOC/NEXDOC) systems during this planned maintenance period.
All users of the Seasonal Pests (SeaPest) system.
Information
Update: There has been an update to the list of affected systems and to the scheduled outage window end time. Updates are as follows:
- Export/Next Export Documentation (EXDOC/NEXDOC) systems will also be affected
- The outage window has been extended an additional two (2) hours from 04:00 to 06:00 Sunday 30 March 2025 (AEDT).
Due to scheduled infrastructure maintenance, there will be a scheduled outage to the following systems from 23:00 Saturday 29 March to 06:00 Sunday 30 March 2025 (AEDT):
Messages between DAFF systems and the Department of Home Affairs Integrated Cargo System (ICS) will also be queued and will send at the conclusion of the outage.
Action
BICON users are also advised to complete and submit any in-progress import permit applications prior to the commencement of this planned maintenance period.
