Purpose
This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to notify all Plant Exports Management System (PEMS) users, including plant export clients, exporters and authorised officers (AOs), of a disruption to export systems due to a departmental maintenance outage.
Summary of changes and key points
- PEMS will be unavailable during:
- Saturday 5 April 2025, 9:00pm – Sunday 6 April 2025, 12:00am (AEDT)
- During the system outage window, users will still be able to work in PEMS but some request services, such as 'Refresh from EXDOC', may queue until the outage has completed.
Exporter responsibilities
Familiarise yourself with the timing of the expected system disruption and its impacts.
Authorised officer responsibilities
- Familiarise yourself with the timing of the service disruption and its impacts.
- Inspection results will need to be recorded prior to or after system disruption.
