- Formal Notice HERE for Brisbane
Infrastructure Levy / Terminal Access Charge Increases:
Sydney:
- Imports: up from $196.61 to $213.57 ? +8.6%
- Exports: up from $183.30 to $195.39 ? +6.6%
Brisbane:
- Imports: up from $199.84 to $213.78 ? +7.0%
- Exports: up from $184.88 to $196.58 ? +6.3%
Ancillary Fee Increases:
Across both terminals, increases in ancillary charges (truck appointments, sideloader fees, storage, surcharges, etc.) range up to +16.1%
Rationale for Increases:
Hutchison Ports cited a partial recovery of significant operational cost pressures, including:
- Electricity costs doubling,
- Maintenance service costs rising by ~20%,
- Land rental and outgoings up by more than 10%.
Despite these increases, Hutchison Ports emphasised maintaining lower export levies to support Australian exporters. For further news, please refer to our website.Tom Jensen - General Manager Freight Policy & Operations - FTA / APSACopyright © 2025 Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) Pty Ltd, All rights reserved.
