With the installation of road barriers and finalising the citybound express lanes, drivers from the western suburbs can now enjoy a smooth run from the M80 Ring Road and Princes Freeway to the West Gate Bridge, using the three new citybound express lanes on the West Gate Freeway. Drivers wanting to get to the inner west suburbs (Brooklyn, Yarraville, Spotswood, South Kingsville and Altona North) will need to stick to the left lanes and exit at Millers and Williamstown Road citybound exit ramps. The far right lanes will run direct from the M80 Ring Road interchange to the West Gate Bridge. You won't be able to exit the freeway from these lanes. To learn how to use the citybound express lanes, watch the video below. |
