Invitation to participate in PhD research on Liner Shipping Resilience

 


On behalf of Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA), we invite you to contribute to a research study led by Ms. Leticia Asiimirwe, a PhD candidate at the Australian Maritime College, University of Tasmania.

This study explores how liner shipping companies and their stakeholders collaborate to manage and recover from unforeseen disruptive events. Your insights will play a vital role in understanding the effectiveness of stakeholder collaboration and in shaping strategies that enhance industry resilience.

Who is invited to participate?

Professionals involved in liner shipping, including:

  • Liner shipping companies
  • Freight forwarders
  • Container terminal operators
  • Stevedores
  • Empty container parks
  • Regulatory bodies (e.g., port authorities, customs, maritime safety agencies, quarantine and biosecurity agencies)
  • Other key stakeholders in the liner shipping sector
